Testimonials

  • "Sara has completely changed how I think about health and exercise. She coaches all levels and tailors the plan to suit your needs. Before coaching, I was terrified of the gym. I felt tired all of the time, my joints hurt and I didn't feel able do any proper exercise. Sara helped me to find exercises that suited me and having my regular weekly check ins helped to keep me accountable to make sure that I stuck to them. I now exercise at least three times a week, at home or at the gym and I've even braved going to a class! Sara's programme helped me to feel confident lifting weights. She found exercises that worked for me and helped me build up my strength and my confidence. I don't feel embarrassed or intimidated at the gym anymore, it's now something I really enjoy. I've noticed a big improvement in my health and fitness. I can't recommend Sara highly enough."

  • Coaching with Sara has been transformational. I have achieved beyond a level I ever would have expected of myself and found a passion for running and training that I plan to take with me well in to my future. Sara strikes the right balance of support and encouragement offset by ambition and expectation of what you're capable of. The training programme Sara created for me has resulted in physical changes that I am enjoying, but they have been superseded by the positive mental impact that running and weight training now have in my life. After a decade of being mum I had lost a lot of my own identity, my training programme has helped me reconnect with myself and my aspirations for me.

  • Sara is a firm but fair coach. Sara programmed an extensive and detailed training programme that worked to my schedule. Sara was able to figure out exactly what my goal marathon pace would be very quickly and we worked accurately to that. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Sara and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

  • “I’ve been working on & off with Sara since the start of this year to improve my health & fitness. At first I was planning to run a 10k but that quickly transformed into me signing up for my first marathon. Sara has helped to guide me every step of the way. She provided a structured running plan which allowed me to fit running around my schedule and we also focused on strength workouts to help along the way. Weekly check ins are a great way to reflect on positive and negatives and Sara was always on hand with advice and encouragement. Sara has helped keep me motivated and believed in me on the days I didn’t believe in myself. She is a fantastic coach and you can tell how much she cares about her clients - perfect example was being there to cheer me and her other clients on race day!! Can not recommend her enough! “

  • “Sara’s coaching helped me beyond my expectations. Not only her plan allowed me structuring my runs and strengths sessions to improve my running performances and ability to recover from challenging workouts, but helped me setting a healthier routine for both the mind and body. Her daily support and guidance have been keys in achieving my goals and overcoming life challenges, encouraging me to believe in what I am capable of. I’ve learned a lot through this coaching experience, valuable lessons that I’ll take with me in the future. Sara is a real inspiration and able to get the best out of people, and I’m only looking forward to resume training to explore more of where this running journey can take me. “

  • “I started working with Sara at the beginning of the year after signing up for a marathon and then freaking out about it massively! In January I couldn’t run 2k and by October I completed the Loch Rannoch marathon.

Sara provided structured running, strength & swimming plans that accommodated my schedule & family commitments. The holistic approach that Sara takes really appealed to me- I loved that the weekly check ins didn’t just focus on the fitness but all aspects of the week positive & challenging.

When the going got tough & it did! It’s been a running rollercoaster Sara was there with the motivation, the advice, the empathy and the encouragement.

I do and I have and I will continue to recommend Sara as a coach to everyone. She is an absolute gem of a human being & and fabulous fitness coach.”

  • “I have done two blocks of coaching with Sara and I am so pleased with my progress during both segments. My first goal was to be able to run a 5k with ease and avoid injury in the process. Second block I wanted to improve on this to get to 10k which I did with success. In addition to my running goals I was also met with a new found confidence in my health. I had struggled on and off with health issues and injuries since having kids and using Sara’s program which incorporated lots of strength sessions with my running coach really changed the game for me. I am looking forward to setting new health and exercise goals for myself in 2025 and the coaching I’ve received thus far instills a new confidence I havnt experienced in myself for a long time now. Thank you Sara for your help this year. I will definitely be back in 2025! xx”

  • “Sara was my coach for more than a year, guided me through the trainings for two half marathons (3rd place -Loch Rannoch half 2024, 2nd place the glentress half 2025) and my first ultramarathon (1st place cairngorm ultra 2025). Her support to achieve my goals, running related or linked to personal challenges, was invaluable. She is a caring and attentive coach committed to custom a training plan that best fits our lives. And a few months since the end of coaching, I am grateful for the mindset, tools and learnings I gained from this journey.”

If you’d like to explore combining the two, we can chat about how that might work best for your needs.

  • Coaching is charged monthly.
